More Camping Photos in Goblin Valley

Funny that looking south from a desert you see snow-capped mountains. Still, it's a great view. The park is kind of like a James Christensen painting. Jeff thinks it could just as easily be called "Valley of the Noses" since the goblins all look like big schnozzes and call to mind the red-faced gentleman from A Christmas Carol and the "pendulous excrescence on the end of his nose, that shook like the gills of a turkey-cock."

The tree was filled with caterpillars (as can be seen in a picture in the next post).
